Pet Shimmers

Pet Shimmers is a Bristol-based group active since 2019. The line-up includes Michele Schillace and Oliver Wilde, and the project begins with a larger formation that includes Lexi Jennings, Helena Walker, Will Carkeet, Richard Clarke and Ellie Gray, alongside Wilde and Schillace. It is associated with alternative and neo-psychedelic music, and also appears under tags such as indie pop, shoegaze, indie rock, noise pop and neo-psychedelia.

The group’s name is presented in reverse in one of its early descriptions, and that same wording places it within a loose circle of references that includes Gender Neutral Milk Hotel, Harmony Korine and Memoryhole. The project is described as launching in 2019.
