Pentorr

Pentorr are a Cornish folk band from Cornwall in the southwest of England. Their music combines traditional Cornish melodies with influences from psychedelia and reggae, and their sound develops from fiddle tunes into a jam-band style built around interlocking mandolin parts, bass hooks and drums.

Line-up

The group consists of Matt Bollington on guitar and vocals, Martin Jump on mandolin and bouzouki, Will Manley on fiddle, and Ben Siminski on drums and bass.

Performance context

Pentorr play at traditional folk festivals as well as music venues.
