Pegboard Nerds are a Scandinavian electronic music duo made up of Alexander Odden and Michael Parsberg. They are based in Denmark and have been active since 2012. Their name is an anagram of their surnames, Odden and Parsberg.

Odden and Parsberg first meet in 2005 and form the group in 2011. Both have been producing since the 1990s, and before joining together they release records under separate projects. Their music sits across drumstep, dubstep, EDM, electro house, electronic and glitch hop.

Releases and labels

In 2012, Pegboard Nerds sign to the Canadian label Monstercat. They become closely associated with that label, holding the record for the most releases on Monstercat by any artist and taking part in every anniversary compilation to date. In 2022, they launch their own label, Nerd Nation. They also release a single on Spinnin' Records under the alias P8ople.

Collaborations and notable releases

Through Monstercat, the duo collaborate with artists including Jauz, Knife Party, Krewella, NGHTMRE and Tia Simone. They also release the EP Pink Cloud to support breast cancer research; it reaches number two on iTunes Dance Albums and enters the Top 10 on the Billboard Dance Albums chart.

Other projects

Odden is also one half of the duo Sophon, which has released music on Monstercat and Nerd Nation.
