Pears

Pears are a punk band from New Orleans, Louisiana. The name is styled in all caps, with no “the”. They play a mix of hardcore punk, pop-punk melody and sludgy breaks, and are also associated with punk rock, lo-fi and melodic hardcore.

Career

The band releases its album Go To Prison in 2014. It is issued on vinyl through Anxious and Angry, the podcast and label run by Ryan Young of Off With Their Heads, and also appears on Gunner Records in Europe.

Pears are described as being on an ongoing tour in support of the album.
