One Pax is a Peruvian psychedelic rock band from the 1970s that later splits up. That group includes Mark Aguilar, Enrique Ego Aguirre, Miguel Flores, and Jaime Orue Moreno. It releases one full-length album, Pax (May God And Your Will Land You And Your Soul Miles Away From Evil), in 1970 on Sono Radio, and also issues several 45rpm singles through the 1970s into the mid-1980s, including “Exorcismo / Sr. Epidermis” and “Radar of Love.” It also appears on the Back To Peru Vol. 1 and Vol. 2 compilation series with the tracks “Sittin' On My Head” and “Exorcismo.”
Another Pax is a Burgenland Croatian group from Gerištof/Kroatisch Geresdorf in the Oberpullendorf district. That line-up consists of Berti Kuzmits on vocals and guitar, Franz Kröpfl on drums, Franz Jambrich on bass, and Feri Fellinger on keyboards. The group performs for the first time on February 4, 1978.
A separate Pax is a German techno-industrial project by André Schmechta, known from X-Marks the Pedwalk, and Heiko Daniels, known from ECO. It releases The Power of Pure Intellect on Zoth Ommog Records in 1997, followed by High Speed Digital Spirit Processing in 1999. Both albums are regarded as cult releases, and the project is no longer active.
There is also a Dutch solo project by singer-songwriter Jörgen Apperloo from Amsterdam, active between 2000 and 2007. That project wins several Dutch music prizes in 2000 and 2001, performs on national and local radio, and releases the self-published albums The Colors You Make Me Feel and Homegrown Roses.
Another Pax is a trance duo made up of Prateek Chaudhary and Gabriel Hochstatter. It releases digital singles and EPs including Carbon EP, Flare, and Transatlantic.
A Dutch MC also uses the name Pax. He records an album as an MC in the hip-hop band Illicit, and he also releases two albums with beatmaker PRY under the name Pax & PRY. In 2009 he tours with Kyteman's Hip-Hop Orchestra and appears at Dutch festivals including Lowlands, Pinkpop, North Sea Jazz, and Eurosonic/Noorderslag in 2009 and 2010.
Other acts with the name include a Danish pop group that releases the single “All The Way To Memphis” in the 1970s, and a solo lo-fi beat artist.
