Paul DA KUTT is a DJ, vinyl mastering and cutting engineer, and producer from London. He takes his name from his day job at Stonesthrow Mastering in the East End, where he works as a vinyl mastering and cutting engineer. He works with a range of London underground DJs and artists, including Grooverider, Ratpack, Paul Oakenfold, Fabio, Kenny Ken, Ray Keith, Tuff Jam and MC Creed.

DJ career

He has been DJing since 1991. In 1996 he reaches the final of the DJ of the Year competition and later plays at clubs in London, elsewhere in Europe, and further afield.

Total Fusion

Paul DA KUTT is also part of the production duo Total Fusion with Goodguy. The pair specialise in dance music production and release tracks on labels including T/F Records and RGR Records.

Their releases include “Be My Baby” featuring Sandeano, which reaches No. 3 in the Mixmag garage chart and receives airplay on Radio 1, Kiss FM and pirate radio stations. “Da Funk”, featuring Evenson Allen of Ratpack, reaches No. 7 in DJ Mag’s breaks and beats chart and appears on Freq Nasty’s Y4K album alongside Fatboy Slim and the Chemical Brothers, with further airplay on Radio 1, Kiss FM, XFM and pirate stations.

Total Fusion also remixes Rat Pack’s “Searching For My Rizla”, the No. 1 track by the group, and later produce a big electro house remix of La Roux’s “In for the Kill”.
