Patients

Patients are a South Korean hybrid punk band from Seoul, active from 2005. The group is fronted by 백준명.

Style and background

The band is described as hybrid punk rock and also appears in tags associated with singer-songwriter, indie, experimental and electronic music. Their sound is linked to punk and post-punk references, with influence drawn from acts such as the Sex Pistols, Ramones, The Cure, The Undertones, Generation X, Cockrasher and Galaxy Express.

Members and label

In addition to 백준명, the band is associated with Sumin Jo on bass and vocals, Hyuckjang Kwon on keyboard, and Jaehyuk Lee on drums and chorus. They are linked with Steel Face record label.

Other act with the same name

There is also a separate project called Patients created by Ben Cooper, known for Radical Face and Electric President. That project is distinct from the Seoul band.
