Parakeet

Parakeet is an indie and alternative shoegaze project formed by Yuck bassist Mariko Doi, History of Apple Pie drummer James Thomas and former Loverman guitarist Jon Jackson. The group brings together musicians with experience from several other bands and works in a guitar-led style associated with shoegaze, fuzz pop and garage rock.

The project centres on Mariko Doi, James Thomas and Jon Jackson. Doi plays bass, Thomas plays drums, and Jackson plays guitar. The group is also identified with female vocals.

Music
