Paper Crows is a duo made up of Emma Panas and Duncan McDougall. The group works in electronic and trip-hop styles, with a sound also associated with dream pop and female vocals.

Release and airplay

Its debut single, Stand Alight, is released on the label run by production and songwriting duo Future Cut. The track receives support on BBC Radio 1 through BBC Introducing via Vic Galloway, and it also plays on Nick Grimshaw’s show. It is playlisted on XFM’s evening upfront list.

Reception and remixes

A remix by Italian producer Monsieur Adi gains blog coverage, while the original single receives print reviews from NME and iDJ magazine.
