Paper Boats are an indie folk band from Salem, Oregon. The line-up consists of Brette Irish, Matt Hall, Robert Harris and Andrew Tennant. The group is active from spring 2007 until late 2009, when it breaks up and some members join Bottle Rocket.

During its time together, Paper Boats releases a three-song EP that includes “Echternauch (part 1)”, “Francis” and “Come On Girl”. The band also plays a number of house shows, where audiences sing along to “Kittens”, a song described as a quaint love song.

There are other acts that use the name Paper Boats, including an indie dream pop band from Surrey in the UK that releases a debut EP called Youth Values in 2012, and a separate music project led by Brent Curriden, former frontman and songwriter for Moirae, with Jera Lewis and Gabe Peralez.
