Panteros666

Panteros666 is the pseudonym of Victor Watel, a producer and drummer who is also part of Club Cheval. He has been associated with Hyperalliance and works across bounce, eurodance, hard house, hypertechno and trance, with links in the wider profile to techno, gabber and house.

His earlier background includes playing in Sexual Earthquake in Kobe and The Teenagers, with those projects connected to Kitsuné and XL. Under the Panteros666 name, he makes club-focused electronic music that draws on progressive house, funky house and electro house, while also using trancy synths and heavy, tribal percussion.

The project description also frames his music through a mix of Aztec imagery, digital culture and dancefloor energy, with influences drawn from online video, gifs and images. His first mini LP, Hyper Reality, is released on Brodinski’s Bromance label and is presented with a live show that uses Xbox Kinect and other digital technology to add a visual element to performances and to interact with audiences.
