Pandora is a Mexican female vocal group formed by sisters Isabel Lascurain and Mayte Lascurain with their cousin Fernanda Meade. The group begins in 1981 under the name Trebol and takes the name Pandora when it signs with EMI Records in 1984. It remains active and is associated with latin and latin pop.

Origins and line-up

The group is based in Mexico. Its founding line-up centres on Isabel Lascurain, Mayte Lascurain and Fernanda Meade. The name change from Trebol to Pandora comes with the EMI Records signing in 1984.

Style and career

Pandora works in latin pop, with a wider latin sound. It develops as a vocal group rather than an instrumental band, and its identity is tied to the three singers who form the original line-up.
