Pandas and People

Pandas and People are a four-piece band from Redditch in the Midlands. The group forms in a town they describe as having few distractions, and they spend much of their time writing and producing music together.

Style and recording

Their music combines ideas from a range of genres and artists, aiming for a sound that feels familiar while also being progressive and distinct. Their debut album is recorded at Sandhills Studios in Liverpool with producer and friend Al Groves. The material draws on funk, soul and electronica, and it is tied together with indie guitar hooks, vocal melodies and harmonies.
