Pan Amsterdam

Pan Amsterdam is a New York-based group active since 2018, built around Leron Thomas. It is associated with hip hop, jazz and nu jazz, and releases music on Def Pressé. Thomas is an American jazz trumpeter, composer and vocalist.

Born in Houston, Texas, Thomas attends the High School for the Performing and Visual Arts before moving to New York City to study jazz and contemporary music at The New School. He works professionally before completing his studies in 2003, and his music is described as crossing between styles.
