Palm

Palm is a Japanese group formed in the summer of 2000. The band develops an original sound shaped by instinct and by influences from metal, hardcore, doom, sludge and rock. Its music is associated with hardcore, math rock, experimental and indie rock.

Releases and activity

After performing with many other bands and touring internationally, Palm releases its first DVD, Spin The Imagination, through S.M.D. Records. The DVD includes two video clips and a short film that presents the band’s view of the world. The group later issues a self-titled full-length album containing 11 songs on S.M.D. Records.

Touring and lineup

The band completes a national tour with Osaka group Infernal Revulsion after the release of its full-length album. Palm is described as a group, and the Japanese lineup named in the record is Kasra, Eve, Gerry and Hugo.
