Paddy McGuinness is a comedian from Farnworth, England, born in 1973. He is also known as Patrick Joseph McGuinness and uses the name Paddy.

Television work

He first becomes widely known for playing doorman Paddy in That Peter Kay Thing, appearing in the first episode, In The Club. That role leads to further appearances in Phoenix Nights and Max & Paddy's Road To Nowhere. He also presents various television programmes.

Live performance and other interests

McGuinness tours with his stand-up material, including the Dark Side tour. He is a lifelong supporter of Bolton Wanderers and is often seen at their home matches at the Reebok Stadium.
