Pablo Nouvelle

Pablo Nouvelle is the recording name of Fabio Friedli, a Swiss electronic artist from Bern. He works as a film-maker and musician after previously studying architecture, and he makes songs by combining new sounds with older samples. The project name comes from an affection for the French cinematic nouvelle vague movement of the late 1950s and early 1960s.

Releases

His first single, Is It OK, appears on his self-titled debut release from 2013 on Feraltone. He follows it with You don’t understand on Black Butter Records and Heartbeat, a collaboration with Norma Jean Martine, which returns to Feraltone in 2014. In 2015 he releases the EP Take me to a place on Black Butter Records.

Debut album

His debut album, All I Need, is released in 2016 via Armada Music. It includes vocals from Sam Wills, James Gruntz, Josef Salvat, Liv and Lulu James, among others.
