OXYMORRONS
Oxymorrons is a Queens-bred American rap rock and nu metal group formed by brothers K.I. and Deee, who first work together after spending years playing and touring with other bands. The lineup expands to include drummer Matty Mayz, bassist Joe Jordan and guitarist Adam November, forming the live unit that supports the group’s blend of rap, hip-hop and rock.

The band uses its music to speak for people it sees as rejected or overlooked, and its lyrics centre on individuality and the underdog experience. Its sound combines sharp, rhythmic rap delivery with heavy, genre-crossing instrumentation.
Collaborations and partnerships
Oxymorrons works with a range of artists, including Travie McCoy, Saba, Sam Gongol of Marian Hill, Maxine Ashley and Wynter Gordon. The group also attracts brand partnerships with Red Bull, Converse, Rocawear, Taco Bell and Karmaloop.

The group has a reputation for an energetic live show and appears at festivals including SXSW, Houston Summer Free Press, Firefly, AfroPunk, Summer Fest, Funk Fest and CMJ. It also shares stages with acts such as Lupe Fiasco, Common, Ludacris, Gym Class Heroes, Bruno Mars, Juicy J, KT Tunstall, Rihanna, Salt N Pepa and Danny Brown.
