Owen Jones is a free-lance musician, guitarist and composer from Nottingham, UK, and is also associated with Fareham, United Kingdom. He is known as a drummer and singer in a range of acts, and his work spans drums, vocals and guitar.

Career

Jones plays drums with The Jazz Butcher. He also drums and/or sings with David J., the former Bauhaus member, The Lost T-Shirts of Atlantis, and Shakespeare and the Bible. He is in the band Onkel José until 2006, and returns to performing with Shakespeare and the Bible from 2007.

Recordings and collaborations

His song “Don’t Let Me Keep You” appears on a limited edition disc given to audiences at some Jazz Butcher shows in California. He is also credited with the CD Plus Or Minus Zero, released in 2009, which contains 12 original songs. Jones has also worked with Victor Manley of Just and Dan Wright of Dissolvedin.
