Orlando

Orlando is an English romo group from the United Kingdom, active from 1996 to 2000. The band is founded by Tim Chipping and Dickon Edwards, and its line-up includes Stephen Jeffris and Simon Kehoe.

The group’s work sits within the romo scene and overlaps with pop and electronic influences associated with 1990s British indie and dance-oriented guitar music. Orlando releases include the singles Just for a Second, The Magic EP and Nature's Hated, followed by the full-length debut Passive Soul, which appears on Blanco y Negro.

After Orlando, Dickon Edwards goes on to form Fosca.
