Organisation

Organisation is the name used by more than one act. The best-known is the experimental krautrock group that comes directly before Kraftwerk. It also includes a separate elektropunk duo from Stuttgart, Germany.

Experimental krautrock group

The krautrock Organisation is an early version of Kraftwerk and includes the founding Kraftwerk members Florian Schneider-Esleben and Ralf Hütter. The lineup also includes Basil Hammoudi, Butch Hauf and Alfred Mönicks, who also uses the name Fred Monicks. Charly Weiss, Peter Martini and Paul Lorenz are sometimes also included in the group’s history.

The band releases one album, Tone Float, which is produced and engineered by Konrad “Conny” Plank. It appears on RCA Victor in the UK in 1970. In Germany, it is only available as an import, and poor sales lead RCA to drop the band, after which it disbands.

Stuttgart elektropunk duo

A separate Organisation is an elektropunk duo from Stuttgart, Germany. This act releases the EP Neue Aggression - EP in 2024.
