Open Arms

Open Arms is a rock group founded in 2009. The project begins with an idea from Jose Valli, who sees Juha Palve performing at a youth centre in the municipality of Virrat, and later forms the band in Helsinki.

The early line-up includes Juha Palve, Joonas Junttila, Erkka Lindstrom and Julius Hurri. According to the available details, Juha Palve is expected to move to Helsinki for civil service, and there the musicians start playing together as a group.

Jose Valli writes No Looking Back before the first practice and records it at home as an initial song for the band. The group also works with an old friend of Jose Valli, Perttu Kurttila, in the process of making its first demo album.

The group releases the EP Reaching for the Soul.
