One for Sorrow
One for Sorrow is a metal group from London. The band draws on heavy, stoner and groove metal influences, and is associated with hard rock as well as metal. Its listed influences include Down, Corrosion of Conformity, Black Label Society, Black Sabbath, Led Zeppelin, Alice in Chains, Pantera and Crowbar.
Line-up
The group consists of Joe Thompson on vocals, Jason Putter on guitar, Tim Maude on bass and Ross Hardkore on drums.
Releases and activity
One for Sorrow launches its debut EP in February 2013. An earlier version of the act, then known as Neglected, comes from Thanet, Kent, and plays as a four-piece of 16-year-olds. That line-up performs at gigs in and around Thanet and aims to play more widely, including in London. It releases a six-track EP in summer 2009, recorded across 2008 and 2009.

The Kent-era line-up cites Emmure, Trivium, Atreyu, Machine Head and Architects among its influences.
