One Eyed Jack
One Eyed Jack is a skate punk and hardcore act associated with melodycore and melodic hardcore. The project is linked to A. Milliner.
History
The band begins in 1973, when brothers Martin and Bill Francisco start playing together while still in their mid-teens. At that point the group is called Majestic and includes Anthony M. on bass, Jeff D. on guitar, and Rick L. on vocals. Around a year later, Ron Ponzillo replaces Anthony M. on bass, John K replaces Jeff D. on guitar, and the group takes the name Cypress Core.
Through the 1980s the band plays parties and local bars and goes through several vocal line-up changes, with Bill S., Rick L., Tom L. and Ronnie B. among the singers. After a short break, the group returns in late 1988 without a singer, with Bill on lead vocals. In the early 1990s it adopts the name One Eyed Jack.
Line-up and activity
In 1996 Sara B takes over as lead vocalist. The band records a demo in 1998. Its later line-up is Martin, John, Ron and Bill, and it remains active.

One Eyed Jack is also the name of a band formed from the remains of early 1990s Buffalo, New York math rock group Spavid.
