Once a Wolf is a technical progressive metal band from Brighton, United Kingdom. The group’s current lineup consists of Shane Thomas on guitar, Julian Domanski on guitar, Steve Powell on vocals, Rik Coe on bass and Paul Vardy on drums.

The band releases its debut EP, Advent, in February 2011. It is described through association with progressive metal, math metal, progressive metalcore and metal.

The group is noted in commentary for combining technical guitar work with thrash metal intensity, and for showing a level of musical maturity and promise early in its career.
