On Trial UK
On Trial UK is an English punk band from London, active since 1977. It is also known as the On Trial Organization and has had many line-ups over its history.
Style and themes
The band plays punk and punk rock, with a sound that also draws on 1977 punk, garage rock and 1990s skate punk. Its lyrics often deal with horror, serial killing and sexual perversion.
History
The group forms in Reading in 2004, although it is also identified as a London-based act. It grows out of boredom, constraint and a desire for self-expression. Across its many personnel changes, singer Johnny Wah Wah remains a constant presence and is previously the singer of the hardcore punk band Glueball.
