Oliver $ is a Berlin-based house and techno producer and DJ associated with fidget house, minimal and fusion styles. He works closely with Jesse Rose and releases records and remixes that are played by Ricardo Villalobos, Luciano, Derrick Carter and Switch.

Career

Oliver $ releases material through made to play. His track Hotflash appears on the label in January 2008 and becomes a major hit. He also produces remixes for Swag, Idiotproof, the duo of Jamie Anderson and Deepgroove, and Jacob London.

His remix of Grovesnor’s Drive Your Car on Greco-Roman draws a strong response in Jesse Rose’s set to 20,000 people on New Year’s Day 2008 in Sydney, Australia. Alongside studio work, he performs both live sets and DJ sets.

Residencies and performances

Oliver $ holds a residency at the monthly made to play night at Panoramabar in Berlin. He also plays at clubs including The Egg in London, Vega in Copenhagen, Rumble in Sweden and Stalker in Holland.
