Oliver Wilde

Oliver Wilde is a Bristol-based English singer-songwriter. His work draws on indie folk, shoegaze, lo-fi and art pop, and he is also associated with country, psychedelic, folk and indie. He appears as a solo artist and as part of Pet Shimmers and Oro Swimming Hour.

Solo work

Wilde’s first full-length release is A Brief Introduction to Unnatural Light Years from 2013. He follows it with Red Tide Opal in the Loose End Womb in 2014, the EP Long Hold Star an Infinite Abduction in 2016, and Post-Frenz Container Buzz in 2017. Across these releases, he develops a style that combines intimate songwriting with layered, experimental arrangements.

Collaborative projects

Alongside his solo work, Wilde is a member of Pet Shimmers and Oro Swimming Hour, extending his activity into collaborative band settings.
