Oliver Koletzki

Oliver Koletzki is an electronic music producer and DJ from Braunschweig, Germany, active in minimal techno, techno, house, tech house and electro. He starts making music in the 1980s on a Commodore 64 and begins guitar and piano lessons at the age of 13. His early influences include breakdance and early 1990s hip hop.

After his A-levels, he studies music at Humboldt University in Berlin. He also works in sound design for films for the University of Arts in Berlin.

In 2005, he gains wider attention with Der Muckenschwarm, released on Sven Väth’s Cocoon label. The track is remixed by Dominik Eulberg, appears on Pete Tong’s Essential Selection compilation, and is voted Best Track in Groove magazine’s Readers Poll for that year. He also remixes Oliver Huntemann’s Radio for Dance Electric and releases remixes on Secret Planet, Great Stuff and Gomma Records under the name Parker Frisby.

His associated acts include The Koletzkis and Oliver Koletzki & Fran, and he releases music on Flash Recordings and Stil vor Talent.
