Oli Brown

Oli Brown is a blues and rock artist from Norfolk, United Kingdom. Born in 1989, he works as a blues singer-songwriter and guitarist, and he is associated with RavenEye.

Career

Brown signs to the German blues label Ruf Records in January 2008. His debut album, Open Road, follows in July 2008. His second album, Heads I Win Tails You Lose, appears in 2010 and is produced by Mike Vernon. He makes his Glastonbury Festival debut in the same year. In 2012, he releases his third album, Here I Am.

Recognition

Heads I Win Tails You Lose receives strong critical attention. Classic Rock magazine ranks it as the third-best blues album of 2010, and Mojo places it fourth in the same category. At the British Blues Awards in 2010, Brown wins Best Male Vocalist and Best Young Artist. In 2011, he wins Best Band and Best Album for Heads I Win Tails You Lose.
