O Captain

O Captain are an alt-rock and math-pop outfit from Sheffield, UK. The band follows a run of 2013 demos with the Ghetto Hikes EP, which appears in 2014. They share stages with acts including Honeyblood, Mystery Jets, Slow Club and Allusondrugs.

Recognition and radio play

In 2014, O Captain receive BBC Sheffield’s song of the year award. They also appear on BBC Radio 1 with Huw Stephens and are invited to open a BBC 6 Music show marking 35 years of The Leadmill in Sheffield.

Releases

The band’s recorded output includes their 2013 demos and the Ghetto Hikes EP. They are also set to issue singles and an LP after that point.
