Nubian Rose
Nubian Rose is a Swedish melodic hard rock group with an 1980s influence. The line-up includes Sofia Lilja on vocals, Christer Åkerlund and Thomas Lindgren on guitars, David Algesten on drums, Henric Uhrbom on bass, and Fredrik Åkerlund on keyboards. Lilja also works as a vocal coach on the Swedish TV series Idol.
Releases and collaborations
The band’s debut album, Mountain, is released in April 2012. Its recordings include guest appearances from Mats Levén, who sings on a cover of “Close My Eyes Forever” by Ozzy Osbourne and Lita Ford, and Kee Marcello, who plays a guest solo on “Living For Tomorrow”.
