Novena

Novena is a UK progressive metal band from London, active from 2016. The line-up includes Ross Jennings and Harrison White. The band is rooted in the aftermath of Bleeding Oath, an underground prog group that develops a cult following in London and across the UK scene.

Novena begins in 2013, when members from Bleeding Oath form a new project after that band ends. The rhythm section of Bleeding Oath carries over into Novena, with Harrison White moving from drums to lead guitar and Moat Lowe continuing on bass. The band works within metal, progressive metal and rock, and is associated with progressive music more broadly.
