Notes from the Underground
Notes from the Underground is a psychedelic rock group from Berkeley, United States, active from 1965 to 1969. It is a 1960s west coast band associated with San Francisco.
Line-up
The group consists of Mark Mandell on guitar and vocals, Mike O'Connor on bass and vocals, Peter Ostwald on drums, William Skip Rose on piano, electric piano, organ and harpsichord, and Fred Sokolow on banjo, mandolin, guitar, tambourine and vocals.
Recordings
It releases one self-titled record in 1968. Its single Why Did You Put Me On? later appears on the compilation Love Is The Song We Sing, which gives the band wider exposure.
