Nosebleed

Nosebleed are a UK punk band from Leeds. The group forms in 2014 and plays a mix of punk, hardcore punk, straight edge, youth crew and melodic hardcore, with references in the available information to garage rock and roll, disco, surf, ballads and other stylistic experiments in their recording work.

Line-up

The band is a three-piece and consists of Eliott Verity on guitar and vocals, Ben Hannah on bass and vocals, and Rich Myers, who is also known as Dicky Riddims, on drums. The line-up changes over time, but the live show remains a constant part of the group’s identity.

Releases and recordings

Nosebleed release their debut album, Scratching Circles on the Dancefloor, on TNS in 2018. It is produced by Andy Hawkins at the Knave in Leeds and runs to 22 minutes. Before that, the band self-releases a series of short-run EPs. Their second album, Dance with the Devil, is recorded for release in 2021. The band also releases a cover of “Train In Vain” as a charity single for The Joe Strummer Foundation in May 2020.

Live activity

Nosebleed build a reputation as a touring band, playing regularly across the UK and Europe. They appear in a wide range of settings, from DIY venues to larger festival stages, and the available description presents them as a strong live act with an energetic performance style. Style and collaborations
