North Atlantic Oscillation are an electronic rock band based in Scotland.
They released their first single 'Some Blue Hive' on One Records in June 2007. In 2009 the band signed to Kscope - a Snapper Music label - and released an EP called 'Callsigns'. Their debut album 'Grappling Hooks' was released to critical acclaim in the UK in March 2010.
Throughout this period, the band toured the UK and Europe with Porcupine Tree, Anathema and Blackfield.
2012 saw the release of the bands second album, Fog Electric, co-produced by Tony Doogan.
In 2013 the band's vocalist/songwriter Sam Healy released an acclaimed solo album under the name SAND. More info: http://www.sandtheband.com
The band's third album is scheduled for release in late 2014.
