none the less

none the less are a five-piece metal n roll band from Watford, UK, formed in 2007 and split in 2010. The line-up consists of Ant Giannaccini on vocals, Owen Harvey on guitar and screams, Joe Page on guitar, Oli Stanton on bass, and Mike Smith on drums. Jack Kenny is listed as the band’s drummer for 2007 to 2008.

Releases and recordings

The band releases two singles for free, Define and Bitter Taste. Both singles have videos made by Lawrence Hardy. In 2010, the band records Time, the Healer with Dan Lancaster at Glasseye Studios in Hatfield. The album is due for release in March 2011, but the split leaves its eventual release unclear.

Live activity

none the less tour extensively across the United Kingdom and play hundreds of shows and festivals. They tour with Young Guns and support acts including Enter Shikari and In Case of Fire. Their festival appearances include Download Festival in 2009, the Camden Crawl and the Underage Festival in 2008. Their final show takes place at the sold-out Watford Railway Club on 28 December 2010, with support from Lecarla, Kill the Weekend, Polaris and Praden.

After the split

The band states that the final concert is not the last time the members will write and play music together.
