Noisy

Noisy is a Greek deejay and producer, also known as Noisy Lois. She is born in Holland and later moves to London at the age of 18, before returning to Holland.

Background and early development

As a child, Noisy plays classical piano and keyboards. At 16, she plays in an amateur punk band. After arriving in London, she becomes interested in the acid and techno sounds associated with Chicago and Detroit, hearing them in clubs such as Shoom and Clink Street. This leads her to begin making house and techno music with other producers, and her work develops into jungle and drum and bass.

Work and style

Her productions appear on labels including Silent Techno, Estocastical Beats and Sabotage Concept. Her style ranges across techno, minimal, tech-house, experimental and dub.
