No Quarter

No Quarter is a name used by several different groups, including a Welsh New Wave of British Heavy Metal band, an Oi! and RAC band from Birmingham, a gothic rock band from Saint Petersburg, a hardcore band based in Suffolk, and a skate punk band from Singleton in New South Wales, Australia. The Welsh metal group forms in 1980 and releases a couple of demos and singles before disappearing into obscurity.

The Birmingham group runs from 2013 to 2017 and shares members with Close Shave and Dogs Of War. The Saint Petersburg gothic rock version is founded in 2004 by Arvid and Torrid and continues until 2010. The Suffolk hardcore line-up forms in mid-2006 with Rory, Max and Jim from All or None on vocals, drums and guitar, and Grace on bass, but it dissolves in 2007 because of geographical distance. The Australian skate punk group forms in 2003, takes a brief hiatus from 2007 to 2010, changes line-up in 2016, and releases Freedom in 2017, The Air up There Acoustic EP in 2021, and Fear and Loathing on the Pacific highway in 2022.

The name is also associated with political, patriotic and RAC material, and with UK heavy metal, gothic rock, Oi, and Welsh metal styles.
