There are two artists with the moniker of NIVA.
1) Stockholm's Christian Niva makes dreamy bedroom pop that borrows elements from modern dance music.

2) Niva is a Christian hard rock/AOR band from Skövde, Västra Götaland County, Sweden, that was formed in 1984 under the name Axia. In the early 90s, the band changed its name to Niva.
Note: For the releases by the second incarnation of the band Niva (with vocalist Tony Niva as the only common band member), that was formed in 2010, please see below.
3) Tony Niva is a Swedish AOR / Melodic Rock artist from Skövde/Skara. He made his debut album, NIVA - No Capitulation that was released in Japan 1994.
