Ninetoes

Ninetoes is a house and techno DJ and producer from Stuttgart, Germany. He is first known for the 2013 track “Finder”, which becomes a major Ibiza record that season and is the island’s most Shazammed track that year. The track is originally made at a slower tempo for his hip-hop sets, then reworked with a faster tempo and different beats before being released on Kling Klong after Martin Eyerer picks it up.

Background and early career

Before his house breakthrough, Ninetoes works for more than fifteen years as a hip-hop producer and DJ, playing clubs around the world and developing his craft. His background in hip-hop shapes the way he approaches house music, and his sets are described through rhythmical, jacking and groove-driven sounds.

Breakthrough and releases

After “Finder” brings him wider attention, he follows it with releases and remixes on labels including Saved, Suara, Noir, Mobilee, Play It Down, Atlantic Jaxx, This & That, Toolroom, Stereo Productions, Snatch and Roush. His work attracts support from DJs including Loco Dice, Carl Cox, Jesse Rose, Luciano, Davide Squillace and Koze.

Performances

Ninetoes tours internationally and plays clubs and festivals across six continents. His regular touring regions include South America, Asia, the USA, Australia and Europe. He is known for his mixing skills, selection and lively stage presence.
