Nine Lives is a garage rock and stoner rock band from Cardiff, United Kingdom, active since 2019. It is a group with roots in New York melodic hardcore, and includes former members of Black Train Jack.

The band’s sound is influenced by Descendents, Social Distortion, Cock Sparrer, Bad Brains, Minor Threat and Marginal Man. Those reference points place it within punk, punk rock, neo-rockabilly and hardcore-adjacent traditions, with a strong melodic hardcore connection.
