Nights

Nights is a Cleveland-based indie rock band fronted by Jenna Fournier, who sings and plays guitar. The line-up also includes Frank Maraldo on lead guitar, Vincenzo Mauer on bass and Chris Dalman on drums. The group’s music is described as combining dreamy, atmospheric sounds with catchy hooks, rhythmic drive and pointed lyrics.

Releases and label

The band’s first album, Whisper, is released in March 2013. In June 2013, Nights signs with Tower Records in Japan.

Style and influences

Nights draws on shoegaze and indie rock, with influences including Smashing Pumpkins, Ride, My Bloody Valentine, Slowdive, Cocteau Twins and Björk. The band is also associated with touhou, fusion and doujin ongaku.
