Nick Jonah Davis

Nick Jonah Davis is a Nottingham-based UK composer, guitarist and sound engineer. He works primarily from rural Derbyshire and focuses on original solo instrumental guitar pieces drawing on British and American folk traditions.

Releases and recording work

He has released four albums of solo instrumental guitar music. His recordings appear on labels including Tompkins Square and Thread Recordings. Alongside his own work, he also offers remote session guitar services from his home studio.

Performances and touring

Davis tours in the UK, Europe and the USA. His live appearances include festival performances at the New York Guitar Festival, Sin Eater and Supersonic.

Teaching and other work

He also teaches guitar to pupils worldwide. In addition, he is a founder and director of District Musicians, an organisation that provides musical interventions in healthcare settings.
