Nick Hall

English singer-songwriter

Nick Hall is an English singer-songwriter from Birmingham. He also plays guitar, saxophone, piano and a range of other instruments, including the didgeridoo. After spending several years in the local music scene around the Midlands, he gets wider attention after appearing on the BBC television series Fame Academy 2 in 2003. After leaving the programme, he forms his own band and continues writing and performing his own material.

In 2005, Hall supports Bryan Adams on a UK tour date at the opening of the Ricoh Arena in Coventry. Later the same year, he supports Brian McFadden. In 2006, he spends time in Los Angeles writing and recording, and later signs a publishing deal with Reverb Music. He is also working on his debut album and co-writing with other UK songwriters.

Canadian musician

A second musician with the same name is a songwriter, vocalist and guitarist from Toronto, Canada. He sings lead vocals and plays guitar in The Nightmares alongside Dave Fulton. He is also a founding member of The Famous Monsters, where he plays live and writes songs, both for that group and for his own material.
