Nicholas Allbrook is a musician from Perth, Australia. He is the frontman of Pond, a founding member of Mink Mussel Creek, one half of Allbrook/Avery, and a former bass player in Tame Impala, which he leaves in 2012. He also plays drums with Peter Bibby and appears in other projects as a noise maker.

Allbrook grows up in Perth’s music scene and spends time writing and recording across bedrooms, buses, aeroplanes, studios and hotels. His solo work includes his debut album Ganough, Wallis and Fatuna, which he releases through Spinning Top Records, and the single “Whispers of Beauty”, issued as a free download track to introduce the album.

He is associated with psychedelic and alternative rock, both through his solo material and through his work with Pond and his other collaborations.
