New Walk begins making music at an early age and learns piano when seven, alongside basic music theory. The act later joins bands and plays keyboards and electronics. A broad range of artists, including Flux Pavilion, Gemini, Nero, James Blake and Chase And Status, shapes the direction of the project and leads to a stronger interest in emerging electronic styles. A MacBook with Logic Pro becomes an important turning point, giving the project a practical route into production.

Style and activity

New Walk produces across several forms of electronic music and performs DJ sets live. The project also develops as a producer rather than only a live instrumental act, using electronic production as its main creative format.
