Neurodriver is the electronic music project of Dom Smart. Smart also performs as one half of UK breaks act Far Too Loud, where he develops DJing and production skills and helps produce records that contribute to the breakbeat genre.

Career

Neurodriver begins in 2009, when Smart starts working under the name after his path diverges from Far Too Loud. The project focuses on a dancefloor-oriented sound that combines tech-breaks, techno, psychedelia and electro. Smart has produced electronic music since he first starts using a computer.

Releases and label work

The first Neurodriver tracks appear on Smart’s Broken Robot imprint in late 2009. They gain critical attention and reach the top of charts at several dance music stores. Further Neurodriver releases follow on Broken Robot, alongside psychedelic techno material issued on Flying Rhino.

Collaborations

Neurodriver also records a collaborative track with dub artist Gaudi for inclusion on Gaudi’s album.
