Neshiima

Neshiima are a heavy rock band from Glasgow, Scotland, active since 2013. Their sound combines elements of electronica, rap and metal, and they are described as drawing on alternative metal, nu metal, rapcore, rap metal and djent influences.

History

The band emerges from the Glasgow rap metal scene in 2013. In 2018, they release the first two parts of a planned three-EP series, Purple and Orange, and later complete the set with Green. Their recordings receive heavy rotation on Kerrang! and Scuzz TV.

Recognition and live activity

In 2018, Neshiima receive a nomination for a Scottish Alternative Music Award in the Best Metal category. They also make their Download Festival debut, performing in front of the Doghouse audience and receiving a performance review of 10/10 from the festival website.

The band consists of Liam Hesslewood on vocals and guitar, Calum Stansfield on guitar, Craig Rankin on bass, and Danny Cameron on drums and percussion.
