Neon Hitch is an English singer and songwriter from Kingston upon Thames. Born in 1986, she records in styles including pop, electropop, dance-pop, pop rap and electronic rock.

Career

Hitch is signed first to Mike Skinner and Ted Mayhem’s label, The Beats, before it closes. She is later discovered on Myspace by Benny Blanco, who brings her to New York City to work with him. Their collaboration leads to a music publishing deal with EMI and a recording contract with Warner Bros. Records.

Background

She is raised in a Romani family of circus performers. Before leaving at the age of 15, she travels across Europe performing as a fire dancer and trapeze artist. At one point, she is the flatmate of Amy Winehouse.

Her debut album, Anarchy, is released in 2016.
